Between 1850 and 1910 at least 153 incidents of mob and group
violence against Chinese immigrants were known to have happened
in fourteen states in the western U.S. The map below
shows the major sites I have found in this first phase of
the project. I will continue to add sites
whenever I am able to document the specific locations where
events occurred.
